Pho Oh Tasty is a Vietnamese restaurant nestled on N Tustin Street in Orange, serving up a straightforward, home-style take on classic pho and accompanying dishes. The atmosphere here is relaxed and unpretentious, fitting well with the neighborhood’s everyday rhythm where locals often stop by for a comforting meal after errands, work, or weekend activities like hiking nearby Santiago Oaks.

At Pho Oh Tasty, the focus is clearly on portion size and freshness. Diners frequently find themselves drawn to the charbroiled beef plates or vermicelli bowls paired with crispy spring rolls, which locals praise for their hearty, satisfying flavors. The pho broth is simmered to strike that balance between rich and clean, perfect for those seeking a warming bowl without anything overly complex or flashy.

This spot is well-suited for lunch or an early dinner, especially when you want a filling, no-fuss meal. It attracts a mix of neighborhood regulars and visitors who appreciate generous servings without breaking the bank. The Vietnamese iced coffee is a notable mention here—strong enough to give a solid kick after a hike or a long morning.

The service tends to be attentive and kind, enhancing the welcoming vibe of a family-run place where the emphasis is on comfort and consistency. The setting prioritizes functionality over ambiance; it’s not about trendy décor but about giving you a reliable pho experience where the food feels like a familiar foothold.

If you’re stopping by during busier periods, it’s worth noting that occasional operational moments, like mopping during mealtime, might interrupt the experience with strong cleaning smells. Planning your visit slightly off-peak might make for a more relaxed meal.

Overall, Pho Oh Tasty suits anyone looking for sizable portions of dependable Vietnamese dishes in a straightforward, friendly environment — perfect for casual solo diners, couples, or families wanting a down-to-earth taste of Orange’s local Vietnamese fare.

Food was good until floor mopping was done while eating. The smell of the cleaning solution was so strong, that's all I could smell/taste while eating. If they waited until everyone was done and did this before closing the experience would have been better.

Excellent service and the food was delicious and much needed during a rainy day after visiting Microcenter! The well done brisket soup and egg rolls will be worth driving back 27 miles :)

We hiked at Santiago Oak and needed lunch afterwards. We found Pho OH Tasty on Google maps and it was excellent: one rice plate and one vermicelli bowl, chicken and beef were very good. Also had a Vietnamese coffee, if you want to be spun.

This family run restaurant uses quality and fresh ingredients. The food is tasty and the portion is VERY big. Their price is very reasonable. Service is attentive. Definitely will return. Highly recommend the charbroiled beef dishes (either rice or bun) and the crispy spring rolls. Their soup stock for the pho is good as well.

This is my family's go to, local spot for pho. I always get the pho ga with grilled chicken on the side. The broth is consistently tasty. It's a clean, light broth that's balanced with all the aromatics. The grilled chicken is charred nicely with a subtle curry sweetness. If soup isn't piping hot. I'm not eating eat. Luckily it's always steaming.
